How Do I Remove Or Delete My Twitter Account?

Got bored of Twitter? Is someone trying to scam you? Wanna start Twitter all over again? You need to follow three easy steps to delete your Twitter account permanently . But before that keep in mind:

  1. You need not delete your Twitter account to modify your username or email address. To do so simply go to Settings page and make the necessary changes.
  2. Twitter doesn’t let you choose an username that has already been taken. Hence if you want to delete the account and recreate one using the same username, you will need to modify your username (as in case #1).
  3. Keep in mind that your account will however be visible in Twitter for a few days.
