Here is an interesting update for you. Like Posterous, Facebook has rolled out a feature which will let you upload and share your favorite snaps, videos with your Facebook pals via email. With over 250 million registered users, through this cool feature update Facebook is trying to encourage more and more users to share photos, videos to increase interaction amongst each other.

Upload images, videos to Facebook via Email, Mobile Phone

How Stuff Works?

Just like your personalized profile url, Facebook is giving you a personalized upload email address. Grab it, attach all your photos or videos to an email, specify a subject line and send it to the personalized email address. That’s it! Once Facebook receives your email, it will upload all the snaps, videos to the “Mobile Upload” photo album.

Advantages of this Feature

You can send as many images or videos as you wish. There are no size restrictions.
You no longer need to login to Facebook to upload your stuffs.
Facebook won’t keep you waiting till all the uploads are done. Just send the email and Facebook will take care of the rest!

To get started login to Facebook with your email address and password and go to the mobile page. Locate the “Upload Photos via Email” block and grab your personalized upload email. Now open your email client, attach a snap or a video, add a subject line and send it to the email address. Facebook will do the rest for you!

Upload and Share Photos, Videos via Phone

Uploading and sharing is even easier in case you prefer to do it via phone. Go to Facebook mobile page and get started by sending a text link to your phone. Apart from uploading you can also update your status, search for phone numbers, receive notifications for any friend requests, messages, wall post updates and status updates. Just too many reasons to activate Facebook mobile, isn’t it?

I will love to get connected to you on Facebook and Twitter.
